04 Mar H801 | GMC Sierra
Out of all the builds we are a part of and all the stunning trucks our offroad wheels get mounted on, this one is truly special. This GMC Sierra 1500 belongs to Kelly Johnson, the President of Hardrock Offroad wheels. In addition, this GMC is running a set of Famous Forged H801s. The Famous Forged line is reserved for those who strive for the highest quality products on the market for their builds. These wheels are built to take a beating and withstand any amount of abuse you can throw at them… and they do it in style.
For Kelly’s build, he opted to run a 22×12 Famous Forged H801 finished in a stunning gloss black with milled accents. The H801 is an eight-spoke wheel that splits the span just before the barrel. As a result, the distance between surface supports on the barrel is reduced. This helps alleviate impact and directional stress on the barrel making it more stable than wheels with longer gaps between spokes.
These beefy 22×12 offroad wheels are wrapped in a set of 37×13.50r22lt Rolling Big Power tires that add to the aggressive look of this truck. With all that meat under the fenders, you need a solid lift to compensate. This GMC is running a large lift kit from Full Throttle Suspension that boosts up the body just enough to fit the wheels and cause virtually no fitment issues. The overall aesthetic of the truck is “simple and clean”, but the subtle touches do the most. Up front you have a beautiful X-Metal series grill with a LED light bar integrated by T-Rex Grills. Aside from that, the front and rear bumpers have been upgraded to match the rest of the modest setup.
The solid build of the Hardrock Offroad H801 wheel makes it a perfect fit for those that want to look good yet still be able to tackle rugged terrain. The H801 wheels on your Toyota Tacoma will turn heads whether you’re in mall parking lots or rolling on broken trails. Your Jeep Gladiator will be up for date night, mudding or both.
