GMC Sierra 1500

As soon as we spotted Wesley’s GMC Sierra on HardRock Offroad H708 Overdrive’s, we had to reach out and set up a shoot. We sent out our photographer Yaw to meet up with Wesley and take some shots of this bad ass Sierra. The H708 is a super unique wheel in a sense that you can mount them on nearly any truck and it’ll look good. Fitted with some beefy off road tires, and you’ve got yourself a beast ready to hit the street or the dirt.

The H708 Overdrive features 16 slanted spokes, giving it an awesome visual effect while the wheels are moving. Angled spoke wheels need more structural consideration versus straight spoke wheels. When the spokes are angled, impact and stress don’t travel in the shortest straight line to the axle. The H708 compensates for this by using a high number of thin spokes to create smaller gaps, giving it ideal weight distribution.

Now that we got the introduction out of the way, we’re sure you want to know what Wesley has done to this bad boy. For starters, his truck is a GMC Sierra Elevation with the meaty 5.3L V8 and the X31 Off Road Package. The X31 Off Road Package includes a locking front and rear differential, Hill Descent Control, and steel skid plates. Not bad, right? But that clearly wasn’t enough, since this truck is running a Superlift 6” lift kit with Bilstein shocks. Of course, our H708 Overdrive GMC Sierra wheels in 20×12 -51 paired up with Fury Off Road Country M/T tires in 35-12.5-20. GMC Sierra wheels done right, if you ask us.
