When you talk about GMC Sierra 1500 wheels, you gotta mention HardRock Offroad. The Sierra 1500 is a pretty underrated truck. With Ford, Dodge and Chevy being the most popular choices, GMC doesn’t always get the love it deserves. If you ask us, we think the GMC Sierra is aesthetically ahead of its competition. Fine, that’s subjective, and kind of a hot take. Regardless, the Sierra is no slouch when it comes to tackling rugged terrain. Fitted with four wheel drive and a Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel engine, rolling coal with a bad ass truck like this is cake.
Lucky for us, the owner of this GMC Sierra got in touch with us and let us know he was running our off road wheels. As you would imagine, we were super excited that owner was running our HardRock Offroad H106 wheels. The H106 features 10 flat spokes, a large lip and a deep concave profile. In addition, in between each spoke is a very unqiue “half-spoke” giving the wheel a shark tooth style design. If you ask us, GMC Sierra wheels and HardRock Offroad are just meant to be. Since we asked nicely, the owner was generous enough to let us do a photo shoot with the truck. Big trucks and off road wheels…you know we had to get this thing on some dirt. The great thing about this Sierra is that it has no other modifications other than our wheels and big tires. Being a true plug-n-play fitment, enhancing performance and appearance is easier than ever.
Regarding wheel and tire fitment, it was a clean swap without issue. This Sierra is running our matte black H106 in 17×9. As for tires, the GMC Sierra wheels are wrapped in meaty 285/70/17 Rolling Big Power Repulsor M/T tires. Sheesh.
