For the fourth generation of Silverado trucks, Chevy debuted the RST trim line for the first time. RST stands for “Rally Sport Truck” and you’ll be spotting this badge more often on vehicles from the GM lineage. This Silverado definitely does sport a meaner, more aggressive look from all angles which gives this new generation a larger presence on the road…or off it in our case.
Although the RST looks great from the factory, what’s a true enthusiast to do with a brand new toy? Well… modify it of course! This Silverado RST is sporting the new Hardline front and rear bumpers from Iron Cross Automotive color matched perfectly to the Red Hot (yea, that’s the color code) Chevy. One of my favorite quirks with the Hardline bumper is the RST badging peeking out on the front right corner. Aside from the modified body, we have a massive 6” lift from Superlift Suspension to complement our favorite part of the build – the beautiful Hardrock H503 SPINE XPOSED! Fitment Specs
This RST is sporting the H503 finished in a brilliant Gloss Black with Milled accents to add that extra layer of depth. In accommodation with the 6” lift, we opted to mount a set of 20x12s all around to complement the owners use for the truck. The 20×12 H503 sports a deep 4.8” lip and can support a meaty 40.04 tire. Our RST on the 20x12s is running a 37×13.50r20 Grabber series by General Tire.
