Chevrolet Silverado 1500

20×10

The Chevy Silverado 1500 has come a long way since it’s introduction in 1998. Arguably, this Chevy is top 3 in its class, next to the Dodge RAM 1500 and the Ford F150. The Silverado has evolved over the years, and in our opinion, in a good way. This truck rolled into the shop for a test fit and it was the perfect opportunity to test one of our newest wheels in the collection. That’s right, the new H709 Commander. This Silverado features no other modifications other than wheels and tires, and that was our goal with this project. We want to emphasize that aftermarket wheels don’t have to be mounted on heavily-modified trucks or SUVs to look good. On the factory suspension, the H709’s just flowed effortlessly and enhanced the overall aesthetic of the Chevy.

As for the H709’s, this wheel lives up to its name. It commands attention. The wheel features a “U” shaped split 8-spoke design that is super aggressive. Honestly, this design compliments body lines of all shapes and sizes on damn near any truck or SUV. If you ask us, it’s the perfect set of Chevy Silverado wheels.

As we mentioned above, the objective of our recent shoots is to showcase how our wheels look on otherwise stock trucks. There’s a common misconception that aftermarket wheels just don’t look good on unmodified cars, and that’s just not true. Regardless of if your truck is fresh off the lot or fitted with lift kits and light bars. That said, this 1500 LT is bone stock, and just by mounting an aggressive set of wheels and tires, we were able to achieve a very clean, yet subtle look.

This Chevy is running our gloss black H709 Commander in 20×10 with a -19 offset. As for the tires, we wrapped the Silverado wheels in 33×12.50 Rolling Big Power Repulsor M/T tires.

With a variety of fitments, bolt patterns, and finishes, the H709 is a great choice for those looking add a splash of aggressive to their truck or SUV. With the ability to handle street and off road use, it’s a no-brainer. HardRock Offroad has your back, no matter what your goal is for your vehicle.
