What’s more surprising? The fact that we’ve only posted 5 other Jeep Wrangler’s or that we wrangled another one in the shop and mounted our off road wheels. That was a terrible pun, but it had to be done. I swear that rhyme was unintentional. Okay, enough joking around. It’s common knowledge by now that the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is one of, if not the most, popular off-road capable trail rig on the market. It comes from the factory fitted with Jeep’s Rock-Trac system with an enhanced NV241 OR transfer case as standard, a locking differential, and a front sway-bar disconnect system and hydraulic rebound stop. Sounds like you don’t need to even touch this car. WRONG. This specific Rubicon is packed to the brim with trail-ready mods that enhance an already capable rig. So the only logical thing to do next was to mount big wheels and big tires that can eat up mud, dirt and sand without hesitation.
As mentioned above, this Rubicon is absolutely locked and loaded with off-roading mods, which you can find conveniently listed below. In regards to wheel and tire fitments, we mounted the H505 Bloodshot XPosed in a gloss black finish and a 22×12 -44mm fitment. As always, Rolling Big Power hooked it up with their Repulsor M/T tires in 35×12.50R22. We know what you’re thinking…12-wides on a Jeep? YES! This kind of setup is more than capable of tackling rough and rugged terrain, especially with a mod list like this.
