Toyota Tacoma
- H105
Details
Over the last few years, we’ve worked with a bunch of trail junkies at Hardrock Offroad, but this Toyota Tacoma Overland build by our buddy Christian is an absolute thing of beauty. Stunning looks is one thing, but the sheer functionality of this machine is a whole other story. So much so, that we had to re-design the gallery page to showcase just how perfect it is. There’s no denying that a stock Tacoma is capable of tackling all types of terrain. Boasting a flexible suspension and rugged equipment, the Tacoma is right up there with the Jeep Wrangler, without a doubt. We knew that Christian had this build, and we’ve been trying to get him on a set of Hardrock’s for a while now. So when we dropped the H105, he fell in love with the design, and we got to work immediately.
Okay, so how is this Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road set up? We’re so glad you asked. The truck’s suspension is fitted with Fox 2.5″ front coilovers with remote reservoirs, Fox 2″ rear shocks with remote reservoirs, Icon 1.5″ Add-A-Leaf kit and SPC front upper control arms. In the end, this equates to a 2″ lift in the front and 1.25″ lift in the rear. As for functionality, the Taco is running Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Yellow Fog Lights, Toyota TRD PRO Front Skid Plate. Billiebars 5″ Bed Rack with Molle Panel, and CVT Bachelor Pioneer Rooftop Tent.
Additionally, we mounted the Hardrock Offroad H105 in a matte bronze finish and 17×9 +1 fitment. For tires, Rolling Big Power hooked it up with their Repulsor M/T’s in a 33″. Whether you’re going for an overland or true off road Tacoma build, Hardrock Offroad offers a selection of ideal 17″ fitments with offsets that fit most of the popular rigs on the market.
