There’s no noticeable difference between a 20 inch and 22 inch wheel as far as ride quality is concerned. The same logic can be applied when talking about off-road scenarios on rough terrain. In the end, the tires mounted on the wheel are the deciding factor to these concerns. One added benefit of a 22 inch off road wheel is that it’s much more visually pleasing than a 20 inch off road wheel.
