After an eight year hiatus, the Ford Ranger returned to Ford’s lineup, slotting perfectly below the F-Series. We must admit, this iteration of the Ranger is probably the most badass yet. The Ranger has always had decent off roading capabilities, but these 4th gens really kick it up a notch. Ford didn’t want to introduce the truck as just another model to boost sales. The mid-size truck packs quite the punch when it comes to dirt duty. With plenty of competition in the Tacoma, Wrangler and Gladiator, the Ford Ranger is able to hold its own. Ever since the Ranger launched, we’ve been on the hunt for one.
To our surprise, we spotted one in the wild rocking our very own HardRock Offroad wheels. Luck, or perfect timing? You be the judge. On the topic of perfect timing, this Ford was running a very clean off road set up. It was a pleasant surprise to see one our newest wheels on the truck; the HardRock Offroad H104. The H104 is our take on a very classic off road wheel design. Featuring 5 wide spokes and a super aggressive lip, this wheel suits virtually any truck. And when we talk about Ford Ranger wheels, it’s a match made in heaven.
Step one was to put this Ranger in its natural habitat. There’s only one way to showcase Ford Ranger off road wheels, right? Let’s dive into the fitment details. The Ford Ranger is running our H104 in 17×9 -12 finished in Matte Bronze. Regarding the tires, the Ford Ranger wheels are wrapped in 265/65/17 Lexani Terrain Beast AT tires. Talk about meat.
The H104 is offered in eight PCD’s and a matte black or matte bronze finish. Trust us, there’s no wrong answer here.
