When we saw Artie and his sick Ford F150 EcoBoost on HardRock Offroad H502 Painkiller’s, we knew right away we had to set up a shoot for his truck. The H502 is such a diverse wheel, that you can mount them on pretty much anything and they’ll look good. Fitted with the proper tires, and you’re good-to-go on street and dirt duties, all day.
Artie made the perfect choice running the H502 Painkiller. A bold take on a classic eight-spoke design, the solid spokes project toward the front lip with a very slight inward curve. By doing this, we’ve created a wheel with a deep hub, while the inward curves achieve a concave aesthetic without looking cone-like.
You’re probably wondering what mods this EcoBoost is running? Well, strap in. Part of the Truck Envy truck club, Artie’s Ford is equipped with an 8” lift, which he calls Frankenstein, because he’s got combined parts from Pro Comp and Rough Country.
Additionally, the truck has Air Design fender flares and hood scoop, Air Horns of Texas train horns, Lasfit LED bulbs, Carven Exhaust muffler, Bullet Liner by Tuff Skin installed in Huntington Beach, R1 Concepts performance brakes, Rockford Fosgate amps, speakers, subs, and tweeters installed by Darkside Customz, and last but not least, our very own H502 Painkiller’s wrapped in Toyo Open Country 37×13.50R24 M/T Tires.
Name a better duo, we’ll wait. Artie had the wheels, tires and lift kit installed by Best Buy Tire Pros in Norwalk, California and all of his mechanical work was done at Diesel Tec in Carson, California.
